Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Draptor Pty Ltd (ABN 77 661 058 500) ("we", "us") handles personal information in connection with BenchFlow (the "Service"), in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
1. What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, password (stored as a secure hash), and business details (business name, address, phone, ABN) shown on your quote PDFs.
- Content you create: quotes, drawings, supplier contacts and customer records (which may include your customers' names, site addresses and phone numbers).
- Billing details: your subscription plan and payment history. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by us.
- Technical data: log and usage information needed to run and secure the Service.
2. How we use it
- To provide the Service — generating quote PDFs, sending quote emails to the suppliers you nominate, and managing your account.
- To process subscription payments and issue tax invoices.
- To send service communications (e.g. trial reminders, billing receipts, important changes). We do not sell personal information.
- To monitor, secure and improve the Service.
3. Your customers' information
Customer records you enter (names, addresses, phone numbers) are stored solely so you can prepare quotes. We process this information on your behalf and do not use it for our own purposes or share it with other users. You are responsible for ensuring you may lawfully record it.
4. Disclosure to third parties
We share information only with service providers needed to run the Service:
- Stripe — subscription payment processing and tax invoices;
- Resend — delivery of quote emails to your suppliers and service emails to you;
- Google — if you choose to sign in with Google;
- analytics and session-replay tooling (including PostHog, provided via our hosting platform) — used to understand how the app is used and to diagnose problems; recordings and events may capture on-screen information while you use the Service;
- our cloud hosting and database providers, which may store data on servers located outside Australia.
Where information is stored or processed overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the APPs. We may also disclose information where required by law.
5. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards: encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls limiting each account to its own data. No system is completely secure — please keep your password confidential.
6. Retention
We keep your information while your account is active. If your subscription ends, your data is retained for 90 days (so you can export it or resubscribe) and may then be deleted. Billing records are kept as required by Australian tax law.
7. Access & correction
You can view and update most of your information in the app (Account page). You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us — we will respond within a reasonable time.
8. Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first at draptorsevennine@gmail.com. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
9. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time; the latest version is always available at this page, with the date above. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email.
